Homeroom Dashboard · a clear view of the school day
A clear view of where your school’s year actually stands.
It is easy to lose track of where things stand when a school runs a dozen efforts at once. Homeroom Dashboard gives a staff a clear view: which publications are on deadline, how picture-day sales are going, what the fundraiser has brought in — the school’s real status, in one honest place instead of five separate spreadsheets.
The status dashboard for publications deadlines, picture-day sales, and fundraiser totals is live today. A customizable per-school dashboard layout is in early access; this page says plainly which is which.
One view instead of five
Which publications are on deadline, how picture-day orders are tracking, and what a fundraiser has raised sit in one place, instead of a status meeting spent reconciling five separate spreadsheets.
Drawn from the live platform
Every number on the dashboard comes straight from the same platform that runs the work, so the view is current by construction — not a report someone has to remember to update.
The right eyes only
A staff member with the right role sees the totals and the money reconciliation they should, and never an individual student’s private record on this surface.
Which publications are on deadline
A school running a yearbook, a newspaper, and a literary magazine at once is running three separate production schedules, and it is easy for one of them to slip quietly while the others get the attention. The dashboard shows which publications are on deadline right now, drawn from the same production tool the staff already builds pages in — not a status a staffer has to type into a separate tracker after the fact.
It is an honest status view, not a project-management suite: it shows where the production schedule actually stands so a deadline problem surfaces while there is still time to do something about it, instead of the week the pages are due.
How picture-day sales are tracking
A picture-day sale runs over days or weeks, and a staff naturally wants to know how it is going without asking someone to run a report. The dashboard shows how picture-day sales are tracking, drawn from the same store that runs the sale itself, so the number on the dashboard and the number in the store are never two different figures a staffer has to reconcile by hand.
What a fundraiser has raised
A fundraiser lives or dies on whether the person running it can answer, honestly and quickly, how it is going. The dashboard shows what a fundraiser has raised, drawn live from the same platform that runs it, so a staff member answers that question from the dashboard instead of a phone call to whoever is holding the spreadsheet that day.
Staff-facing, role-gated, said honestly
Homeroom Dashboard is a staff-facing surface, not a public one. A staff member with the right role sees aggregate totals and the money reconciliation that goes with them — how many publications are on deadline, a picture-day sale’s running total, a fundraiser’s total raised — and never an individual student’s private record on this surface. The dashboard is built from counts and totals, not a student directory, and access to it is controlled by role.
The underlying data is kept in our own private system. Access is controlled by role, and nothing is sold or handed to an outside company.
The per-school layout: early access, and honest about it
A customizable per-school dashboard layout is in early access. It is not live today, and this page does not pretend otherwise. When it ships, a school will be able to choose which of the status views — deadlines, picture-day sales, fundraiser totals — leads its own dashboard, rather than seeing every school’s view arranged the same fixed way.
Until the customizable layout ships, the honest way to see the school’s status is the dashboard as it stands today: the deadlines view, the picture-day sales view, and the fundraiser view, all live and all drawn from the platform that runs the work.
What is live, and what is early access
The deadlines, picture-day sales, and fundraiser views are running today. The customizable per-school layout is still opening up, and this page keeps the line between them honest.
Live today
The status dashboard for publications deadlines, picture-day sales, and fundraiser totals runs on the platform right now.
Early access: the per-school layout
A customizable per-school dashboard layout, letting a school choose which status view leads. Not live yet; described here as the product it will be.
How we label it
If a capability is early access, this page says early access — not “coming soon” theater. A school should never expect a feature that has not actually shipped.
Common questions
What exactly does the dashboard show?
Which publications are on deadline, how picture-day sales are tracking, and what a fundraiser has raised, drawn live from the same platform that runs each of those. It is an aggregate status view, not a live public feed.
Can a staff member see an individual student’s private record on the dashboard?
No. The dashboard shows aggregate totals and money reconciliation — deadline counts, a sales total, a fundraiser total — and never a per-student row. It is built from counts and totals, not a student directory.
Is the customizable per-school layout live?
Not yet. It is in early access. When it ships, a school will be able to choose which status view leads its own dashboard.
What happens to the underlying data?
It is kept in our own private system. Access is controlled by role, and it is never sold or handed to an outside company.
How is this different from homeroom.center?
Different job. homeroom.center is the home-base facet — the one sign-in and shared roster that ties the platform together. Homeroom Dashboard is the status view built on top of that platform: where the year actually stands, not where you sign in.
How is this different from homeroom.today?
Different audience and different content. homeroom.today is a family-facing, public-safe board of today’s announcements and events. Homeroom Dashboard is a staff-facing, role-gated view of deadlines, sales, and fundraiser totals — it is never a public board.
Is it free, and is there a checkout on this page?
The core is free to start. There is no checkout and no live charge anywhere on this page.
What this page is and is not claiming
Homeroom Dashboard is the status facet of the platform: which publications are on deadline, how picture-day sales are tracking, and what a fundraiser has raised, drawn live from the same platform that runs the work. That status dashboard is live today. A customizable per-school dashboard layout is in early access — not live, and this page never implies otherwise. The dashboard is staff-facing and role-gated: it shows aggregate totals and money reconciliation, and never an individual student’s private record. The underlying data is kept in our own private system, access is controlled by role, and it is never sold or handed to an outside company. This is a for-profit vendor, not a charity, and nothing here is dressed up as a charitable gift. There are no invented stats, testimonials, or adoption counts here, and no competitor is named. The core is free to start, and this page runs no checkout.
